Woodstock ****

Director: Michael Wadleigh
Year: 1970

The 1970 documentary of the 1969 festival. A document of an event that is both intriguing as an historical American phenomenon, as well as one of the greatest concert films of all time.

The performances are epic, and its incredible to think of seeing these bands live together on the same weekend, puts other music festivals a bit to shame when people from my generation think of the impact that these musicians and this very event had on the course of rock and roll and popular music culture.

A classic must see, especially if you like the music.
