This script is really bad. It tries to quirk its way to being charming, and it can't decide to stay on one tone. It's all over the place. At times its absurdly comical, then it wants to be subtle, then it wants to be emotional but it never earns it with sincerity. Very poor direction.
This film wants to portray the young families of my generation and it gets us all wrong.
